Flying Solo

October 14, 2012 was the date of Bradley's first solo flight.  After a wonderful visit out to Minnesota, Bradley boarded a plane and flew to Colorado unaccompanied.  As the boys were waiting for boarding to begin, they called "Bradley Humphries" over the intercom.  He had an absolute priceless (and very surprised  look on his face as they walked up to the gate.  Once they had exchanged goodbyes and several hugs, Bradley boarded the plane with the flight attendant. Bradley was seated in the back of the plane, near to the flight attendants.  There was a second grade teacher that sat next to him that was very kind and helpful.  He was also spoiled by the flight attendants who loaded him up with free chips and TV.  He was so excited after his flight and was beaming for days. Bradley was so brave and confident.  He is a pro when it comes to flying and has more air miles than most adults.  He did such a good job.  We are so proud of him for being so incredibly independent.
