We have been staying SO very busy these past few weeks. Time just seems to fly by without us even noticing! Here is a quick re-cap of some of the things we have been up to.....
Maddie finally gets to ride in her new car seat, facing forward! In December, our little lady decided sitting backwards was just not cool anymore. She would cry every time we would put her in the car, and she would continue to cry until we took her back out. It was making for some not-so-fun car rides. As soon as we put her in her new seat, she hasn't cried since!! She loves being able to see everything that is going on and keep an eye on everyone.
Our So-Very-Pink Princess in Her New Throne
Maddie loves watching home videos more than anything! Whenever she sees the computer or one of our phones she points at it and clicks her tongue. In Maddie language that means: "Can we watch some movies please?" or it could mean "Show me some videos NOW!" depending on her mood. Usually you know its the latter when she throws the phone at you. :)
Sam and a Very Sleepy Baby (Best Bedhead Yet)
Here are a few newer pictures of our photogenic girl.....she is growing up so fast!!
One of the kids favorite things to do is take baths together. They would play in there for hours if we would let them....
Riding bikes is also very popular at our house. Maddie gets very upset when Sam and Brad leave to go on a bike ride without us. We recently purchased a bike trailer so that the three of them can all go together. Since the moment Brad laid eyes on the trailer, he just KNEW he needed to tow it. He talked about it non-stop for about 3 days....so we went ahead and hooked it up. He LOVED pulling his little sister all around. For the remainder of spring break, that was THE only thing he wanted to do. :)
Up close and personal!! Sam was playing with the camera the other day and took these cute close-up.
Of everyone but himself of course......
A few weeks ago, we decided to go out on a little family date. We don't go out to dinner much when we are in Minnesota, but the thought of some amazing Italian food and a super awesome coupon made it all possible!
Brad was trying SOOO hard not to smile
Still trying....but it's peeking through!
Every morning both of the kids end up in our bed. Pretty much the best part of my day, every day! :)
The City of Prior Lake put on a little Easter Gathering for the community. They had Easter Egg Hunts for all ages, and Easter Bunny (that was "too lame" to take pictures with according to Brad), fire truck tours, pony rides, and a petting zoo!! The entire park was pretty much a ZOO, because it was a free event. We were able to squeeze in a few fun things while we were there without getting caught in too many lines. Brad did an AWESOME job on his egg hunt!! He gathered his eggs up quickly and was ready to open them immediately!! :)
Running to the park. He was excited.
Our Little Family. Happy Easter!
Brad talking with the Firemen in the Fire Engine
"It feels like a rug!" -Brad
She LOVES animals more than anything
Checking out the kangaroo
They were making the same face! Too cute.
She was barking like she does when she sees a dog....
was not too sure what this little creature was.
Happy boy
This was officially the SHORTEST spring break ever! Time just flew by when Bradley was here. Lucky for us his next visit out will be for a LONG summer break. For now, it's back to the airport we go..... We'll see you soon little buddy!
Not real happy to leave Minnesota....but he'll be back
before he even knows it!
Oh my goodness!! I love all of these pictures SO much!! My favorite though, is the first close up of Maddie!! Could she be any cuter?!? And that is so cool that Brad pulls Maddie around. What a great big brother!
