Happy Birthday Maddie Jo!!!

Our little girl is officially one year old!! Sam says she is considered a toddler now,  but I just can't accept that yet.  She had a great birthday and had lots of fun with her friends and family.  We were able to open a few gifts from her awesome grandparents before we left on our trip to go see her brother for the weekend.  Once we were in Colorado, we were able to meet up with Ben, Lynsey, Joseph, Nick, Kari, and my Aunt Sherryl and Uncle Steve for a birthday party at Dave and Busters.  It was such a fun afternoon with some of our FAVORITE people! Thank you all for coming and celebrating such a special day with us.  After our party and cupcakes, we went up to a children's museum in Lafayette called WOW.  It was the perfect way to end the day.  They had so many activities and toys for both of the kids to stay entertained for hours!! The favorites were the human bubble, pulley chairs, cash register, ride along car, and a GIANT stuffed bear! All in all it was a great day! Happy Birthday Little Baby!! We sure do love you!!

Unfortunately, the camera ran out of battery before she had the chance to open the rest of her presents and strut her stuff in her adorable little apron from Nana and Grandpa Humphries.  Luckily there was enough juice to take a few pictures.

To Colorado we GO!!!

After she decided how much she DID NOT like getting that yucky frosting on her hands, we decided to go with a cleaner, frosting free, cupcake in a cone.  It was a much bigger hit! :)

 

 Our first visit to WOW in Lafayette. Very cool place! There will definitely be many more visits to come.
