No need to worry....it is not as scary as it sounds! :)
Last month "Little Miss Mischievous" found a laptop charger and decided it would be tasty to chew on. We typically have it tucked away in the drawer of a night stand....but she is getting very fast and very sneaky. She got a little bit of a shock but stopped crying after only a few minutes. There were no blisters, blood, or tears after that but our pediatrician strongly recommended that we take her into the ER to make sure everything was fine. We figured better safe than sorry, so we followed the Drs orders and took her in. The Dr at the hospital was great and said she was perfectly fine (after giving us a silly smile like....."why are you guys even here").
It was a pretty nerve-racking day, but everything turned out well and we are so lucky that Maddie was not hurt. The best part of the day was the mini gown they had us put her in. It was adorable!! The three of us had quiet a fun time waiting for the Dr in our room.
I LOVE that you guys took your camera with you to the ER. That is totally something I would do and now I can show Dan that I'm not the only one! Glad little Maddy wasn't hurt!
ReplyDeleteLuckily we had our camera phones with us...otherwise we would have lost the moment forever!! Sam and I were both whipping them out as soon as we got her dressed in the gown. Too cute not to catch on camera!! Dan will appreciate your efforts much more once his little ones are all grown up! :)
